Mark Carter, Craig Levers, Brent Courtney & Terry Williams-Willcock
Internationally acclaimed photographers and creatives Mark Carter, Craig ‘CPL’ Levers, Brent Courtney and Terry Williams-Willcock present a group collective, ON DEATH ROW.
The collaboration unites fine art with a mission of environmental conservation to highlight the beauty of the Waima landscape, the scars it leaves our next generation and the documenting of rare native species as they face extinction from both kauri dieback and industrial development.
It’s hoped the exhibition will encourage discussion on how best to protect the proposed sites (classified as a significant ecological area) that holds some of New Zealand’s most rare and threatened ecosystems. There’s a special focus on threatened Kauri and critically endangered Kahikatea wetlands, of which only 2% remain.
