We’re based in the iconic Lopdell House in the heart of Titirangi Village, 25 minutes from Auckland CBD. Surrounded by cafés, eateries, beaches and lush greenery, it’s the perfect stop on your West Auckland adventure.

We’re a 10-minute drive from Arataki Visitor Centre, and 35 minutes from the wild beauty of Piha Beach.

How to find us

We’re a bit of a hidden gem. But that’s part of the magic, isn’t it? Once you know, you know.

Head through the large red doors at the front entry of Lopdell House (next to the Atkinson statue).

Then make your way up to the first floor, via the grand swirling staircase or our original 1920s art deco lift.

Et voilà. Your art adventure begins.

Visitor information

  • We’re open every day from 10am to 4pm (yes, even on weekends!)
    We may close on some public holidays, so check our Google Maps listing before you head over.

  • Entry is always 100% free for any visitor.

  • The gallery is wheelchair accessible, and assistance dogs are always welcome.

    We’re located on the first floor of Lopdell House. You can take the stairs, or ride up in our beautiful original 1920s art deco lift if needed.

  • There’s plenty of parking nearby:

    • Free parking is available just behind the gallery on South Titirangi Road.

    • You’ll also find 90 minutes free in the car park beneath Street Feast (on the corner).

    • Or park right outside the gallery on Titirangi Road — just note this is free parking for 60 minutes only.

    • More free spots are available at the Titirangi Library car park, also on South Titirangi Road.

      Note: there are works happening at Titirangi Library which may affect your ability to park here.

  • For public transport, check timetables at www.at.govt.nz.

    We recommend catching a train to New Lynn Station, then hopping on a bus to Titirangi Village, they run regularly throughout the day.

  • There is an accessible/gender inclusive bathroom right in front of the gallery entry.

  • There’s a free rooftop available on the top floor of Lopdell House, open daily between 10am and 4pm.

    Accessible by stairs or lift.
