Genevieve Will is a mixed media artist based in Huia, Auckland. She’s known for her bold, Rorschach-inspired pieces that blend painting, photography, and digital colour. Originally from Sydney, Genevieve studied Fashion Design and Technology in Tauranga before moving to Brisbane, eventually settling in Aotearoa in 2018.

Her creative journey began early, raised in a home where birthdays meant craft kits and coloured pencils. Over the years, she explored everything from pottery to sewing, eventually merging her love of textiles with visual art. That hands-on, tactile approach still drives her practice today.

Much of Genevieve’s work plays with symmetry, perception, and colour. Influenced by her early experience processing language in mirror image and her ongoing journey with chronic pain, she sees art as both joyful and necessary. Her vibrant prints aim to spark imagination and invite interpretation — a playful invitation for the viewer to look deeper, ask questions, and discover something for themselves.
